How long did it take the people to reach Oregon?The Oregon Trail was about 2000 miles long. It took six to seven months to complete the journey.
What were the challenges that the people encountered along the way?Some of the dangers they faced were disease, famine, weather, and wild animals.
What kinds of materiels did the people need to take with them?Some of the equipment and supplies that they had included tools for fixing wagons, in case a wheel or something broke.
What kinds of provisions did the people bring on the trip?They brought food, and some even brought cards and board games to play when they would stop.The Oregon Trail Game
How did the people continue to provide food for themselves?They brought guns so that they could kill animals for food if the needed it. Since they were farmers they did not have much experiance with guns.
