Functions of Brain, Spinal Cord, Nerves, ' Neurons
Cerebellum, Cerebrum, and Brainstem
1. There are more nerve cells in your brain than stars in the Milky Way.2. If we lined up all the neurons in our body, they would be around 600 miles long.3. A newborn baby's brain grows nearly three times its size during the baby's first year.4. As we get older, we lose about one gram of our brains each year.5. There are 100 billion neurons in your brain alone.
