The native american Miwok enjoyed eating many animals such as skunk,bats and certain species of snakes! They did not eat bears but smaller prey like rabbits, or woodrats.
Every year the Miwok held ceremonies expresing their love of acorns. They used acorns to build a type of flour, used for breads,mush,and cooking.

GamesThe Miwok would play games such as hoop and pole. In hoop and pole, one Miwok would roll a wooden hoop while one throws a wooden stick through it.
The Miwok were famous for their water-tight baskets. They used them for trade, and everyday uses. They built other baskets to transport acorns.

Over 3,000 years ago the Miwok were just a communite of houses that settled near SF, they spoke the same language and usaully lived in peace.
The Miwok had triblets thats consist of about 100 or more people. Each triblet had a headman, who handled arguments and was in charge of the food gathering and hunting
In 1770 about 9000 miwok Indians were alive. In 1910 only 670 remained. And today there is less then 50. Their artifacts are left in museums worldwide.
