March on Washington On August 28, 1963, over 250,000 people came to protest for the rigts they deserved. They fought for their voting rights, school integration, and general equality. They didn't just come for that, though. They came to hear the speeches prepared from some of the most famous Civil Rights Leaders.

Why it Happened The March on Washington was a spark of rebellion against voting segregation and general segregation they did not deserve.

"I have a dream" The most popular speech from the March was the "I have a dream speech that motivated everyone's feelings' for the Civil Rights Movement

Martin Luther King Jr ended the march with his famous speech.

They fought for school integration.
