The Life and Times of Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley was born in 1797 and shortly after her family was forced to move from their home country. During the year 1815 she gave birth to her first child William, and the next year she married the father of her child Percy Shelley. In 1817 Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein and the following year she had the book published. Around 1820 she had another child named Percy Florence. In 1822 her husband died of an unfortunate boating accident. She continued living her life with her children and eventually on her own and died of a brain tumor in 1850.

Mary Shelley managed to marry a man named Percy Bysshe Shelley. She had a child named William before they were married. They moved to Italy and she bore another child named Percy Florence. Finally she wrote the classic book Frankenstein that is still very important to modern literature.

Hardships and Obstacles

Her family and her were forced to leave her home country when she was young and she always felt like an outcast. However through all of this she managed to marry and have two children, she also wrote Frankenstein that shapes our views on the world today.
