The Integumentary system consists of your hair, nails and skin. Skin is the biggest organ in the body. Your hair and nails grow from your skin.
What I think will happen?
Your hair starts growing from a hair root. The root is inside a follicle. Tiny blood vessels help the hair root to grow. The hair that you can see has dead cells in it which is why it doesnt hurt to cut your hair but you can feel it when you pull it out. Hair has different jobs for example your hair on your head keeps your head warm. The only places without hair are your lips, the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet.
