Name: Albert Chinualumogu Achebe.Date of birth: November 16, 1930 in Nigeria Date of death:March 21, 2013 in Massachusetts.In the 1990s he was paralyzed from the waste down.
Education: University of Ibadan.In 1958 he published his first novel, Things Fall Apart.He has also wrote many short stories and children's books. He even toured the U.S with other writers and gave lectures to various universities.
The Igbo tribe believes in many gods and spirites. Their suprem-God is known as Chukwu Abima. Their minor Gods are Ala (eath Goddess), Anyanwu (sun God), Igwe (Sky God).

The British colonized Nigera in 1884. The British wanted to take over Africa because of the resources there. The British believed that because they were more advance than Africa, it gave them a right to explore and colonize Africa.
