The Host

In this book by Stephenie Meyer, there has been an alien invasion that the humans lost. They call one alien Wanderer and his job is to get the memories of the host body Melanie. Wanderer starts to like Melanie and when Wanderer is going through her memories, she finds that Melanie had a boyfriend and a brother that she really cared about. Since Wanderer was starting to really care about Melanie, Wanderer wanted to make sure that her boyfriend Jared and her brother Jamie were safe. Throughout the book, Wanderer travels to find Jared and Jamie and where the were hiding from Melanies memories.

The Host

I liked this book because I was very interested to find out what happens to Wanderer. Another reason why I liked this book is because I always enjoyed reading it; there was never a part where I was bored. The third reason why I liked this book was because I got very attached to the characters and I really wanted to read more about them.

REASONS WHY I LIKED THIS BOOK

The characters in this book includes the two main characters, Melanie and Wanderer. The secondary characters are Melanies brother Jamie, her boyfriend Jared and her uncle Jeb.

In the first chapter, the setting starts out when an alien invasion has taken place and the aliens have won. Throughout the book, the setting changes to where Wanderer in Melanie's body goes to find the brother and boyfriend of the host Melanie.
