The Holocaust

The important events during Hitler's time as fuhrer including the segregations of different parties and concentration camps leading up to Hitlers dealth.

1936

In 1933, the first concentration camp, Dachau, was built. Commanded by Theodor Eickle, he lead instruction for other concentration camps.

Kristallnacht, also known as the Night of Broken Glass, when mobs went out and terrorized Jews, destroying everything they had.

On April 30th, ten days after his birthday and one day after he was married to Eva Braun, he took his wife and went underground. From there, she poisoned herself and he shot himself.

Arbeit Mach Freimeaning 'Work Shall Set You Free" was written on the front gates of concentration camps.

In 1936, the people being tormented by hitler and his men were given a break, because of the olympics. Hitler didn't want any foreign press telling the world what hitler was doing.

The Nurmeburg Laws meant that jews, half-jews, gypses and others usually placed in a concentration camp, had seperate everything including fountains, bars, bathrooms and resturants.
