The Holocaust

The Nazis never showed restraint, they slowed down only when they began to run out of Jews to kill.

The Nazis came to power in 1933, when Adolf Hilter became chancellor of Germany. They believed that they were "racially superior" and that Jews were deemed "inferior".

During this time Jews were subjected to persecution that led to the murder of 6,000,000 Jews. Also, the destruction of 5,000 Jewish communities.

In addition to Jews, the nazis targeted Gyppsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's witnesses, and the disabled for persecution. Anyone who resisted the nazis was sent to forced labor or murdered.

By the end of the war in 1945 there were some 50,000 to 100,000 survivors that were living in occupied Europe. Within just a year after the removal of Adolf Hitler from power, that number increased to over 200,000 survivors.

World War 2 finally ended in 1945, after Adolf Hilter committed suicide in fear of the Soviet Union overtaking the Germans. So, the Germans also forfeited with Hitler.
