The Holocaust

The Holocaust ended along with World War 2 in 1945. In April 1945, Hitler committed suicide. Only a month later, Germany surrendered. All of the people were rescued from the Concentration Camps. Unfortunately, millions were killed inside those camps, and could not be rescued. We should remember the people who lost their lives, and be thankful that more weren't lost.

The Nazis came up with a "Final Solution." They moved all of Non-Aryan people to Concentration Camps. In these camps, they lived in terrible conditions. They had very little food and water. The camps had gas chambers and crematoriums. These were used to kill people easier, so they wouldn't spread their genes throughout theAryan race.

Hello, I'm a Nazi. I'm not a blood-thirsty jerk, despite what you're probably thinking. I was forced into the job. I don't enjoy the things I have to do. Which unfortunately, is working at a Concentration Camp. Even worse, right now, I have to kill someone. Three people, innocent people, and I had to shoot them. There they were, all lined up. The people that the rest of the Nazis refer to as the "undesirables." All of them were there. I gripped the gun I had in my hands tighter. I can't possibly do this, I just can't. I've avoided killing anybody so far. I'm so ashamed, I can't believe that I'm associated with these evil men. I threw the gun down, grabbed the people I was supposed to be shooting right now, and ran. We ran far away, and I'm currently hiding a number of these so-called "undesirables."

million people were killed because of Adolf Hitler(see left). Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, and the physically/mentally disabled were the targets. From the Nazi's perspective, they were ruining the Nazi's plan for the perfect race. Their businesses were closed and temples were burned. They were kicked out of their homes, were put into camps, where they were killed.

The Holocaust was a tragic event that happened from 1933-1945. 11

The timeline seems a little small and hard to read. Nice job.
