Independent Reading Project:The Hobbit, or there and back again
After a few adventures Bilbo took, he was able to realize that he needed to rely on his own abilities and do what he felt it was right. Eventually he was able to get out of his comfort zone and learned that he was capable of doing more then he could ever think of. When Bilbo builds confidence in himself he emerges as a true hero.

The narrator is a first person narrator, who is an observer and adds side comments to the novel, in particular Bilbo. The Narrator seems to have an affection for Bilbo, and eventually the reader can't help but to join.
