The Fault in Our Stars

All her life, Hazel has looked at herself as a burden, shadowed in the darkness of cancer, waiting for the period at the end of her sentence to show up. This changes with Augustus Waters.Together, two teens discover the joy in life amidst impossibly difficult situations and learn to love in a world where one feels so unlovable.

John Green

"Living our best lives today."

"Without pain, we would not know joy."

And in the end, we can blame the stars or tell ourselves that it wasn't meant to be, that it wasn't destined to happen. But deep down we know that the stars were not at fault and it wasn't "meant to be." The fault was in ourselves.
