Rosa Parks (seen on left)was arrested on December 1st 1955 for refusing to give up her seat in the grey area for a white man. The bus was stopped and the police called.

Martin Luther King Jnr (above) has been at it again, his most recent protest on August 28 1963 was to protest black voting restrictions. There were over 200 000 white and black people there. This peaceful march will no doubt go down in history.

Elizabeth Eckford stood tall upon attemping to stand up for her rights. The "Little Rock Nine" as they have recently been coinedtried to attend school after beingtaunted and harassed. Eckford was said to be fleeing the scene in tears.the exact events of September 4th 1957 are still hazy.
