THE CORE PROJECT (8th grade Georgia standards)
In our lives we hear many things and in "The Core" they hear many things for example explosions.
S8P3. A: determine the relationship between velocity and acceleration.
S8P3: b. Demonstrate (show) the effect of balanced and unbalanced forces on an object in terms of gravity, inertia, and friction.
In the movie "The Core" they had balanced and unbalanced forces on their ship.
S8P5.A: Recognize that every object exerts gravitational force on every other object and that the force exerted depends on how much mass the objects have and how far apart they are.
Lots of things had gravitational forces on other things in "The Core" For example when all the birds started dying.
S8P5.B: Demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of series and parallel circuits and how they transfer energy.
When they lose power in the movie they connected their ship the two wires to get power back.
