This other primary picture is also showing the signing of the Constitution. On September 17, 1787 the constitution was signed as I already mentioned in the other primary source that I provided. The signing of the constitution took place in Philadelphia at the constitutional convention. Set aside common belief that Jefferson was there to sign the constitution he actually wasn’t. Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were two familiar faces that did however sign the constitution.

This Primary picture shows the signing of the constitution. There were many people to with take in the signing. The signing was held on September 17, 1787. 39 out of 55 delegates signed the constitution. This is an important source because it portrays the signing and all of the people involved in it. You can tell that the people were happy that the constitution was being signed. Though some were not happy and their outrage soon led to the cause of the revolutionary war.

The video talks about the constitution, the bill of rights as well as the Declaration of Independence. The separation of America from Great Britain was slightly mentioned, but definitely worth noting. Basically the video talks about major documents that the United States of America is based on/founded on. The picture is a picture of the constitution itself which could be considered a primary source.

The constitution was written in 1787, and ratified in 1788. The constitution holds all of the laws that we have in the United States today. The constitution provides the framework for our government. After time had passed the ammendments were added to the constitution. The amendments determines the rights of our people and our punishment.
