The moral of thestory is to show that everyone is different in some way. It could be your religoin or your skin color, but the author trying to show you in the frendship can go beyond differences.

SummaryThis story is about two boys, one the son of a commandant and the other a Jew. Who meet on opposite sides of a barbed wire fence. They are seperated by their difference. The novel is set during the Holocaust, Bruno is nine-years-old when his father is transferred from Berlin to Auschwitz. The house at “Out-With,” as Bruno calls it, is small, dark, and strange. An unlikely friendship develops between the two boys, but when Bruno learns that his mother plans to take her children back to Berlin, he makes a last effort to explore the forbidden territory where the boy in the striped pyjamas lives. THen finally at the ending the father remember one barrack went to be gassed. The mother fell on her knees crying. THat`s how the story of the Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

I am Rudolf Hoss the commander of Auschwitz

Rating I loved this movie so much. I loved the setting it was a dark time. It didn`t really show the time line. It was the time but if it didnt say so I wouldn`t know. I wish they would show a little bit more of the Holocaust. But the book was just as good. The best thing about the movie is that we got to see their emotion. The best part about the book is that I got to understand it. I knew everything that was happening. I loved that atfer I read the book I knew what was going to happend but sometimes in the movie that didn`t happen but it made it interesting. That definitely would be a movie I want to watch. My favorite scene in the movie was when Bruno found the dolls in the basement. My favorite part in the book would be when Bruno fell off the swing and Pavel went and helped him. I like that part because we go to learn about Pavel.I would rate the book a 4. I would rate the movie 4.5 becaus it was more detailed.

My Favorite Quote from the Boy in the Striped Pajamas is "We`re not suppose to be friends, you and me. We are suppose to be enemies. Did you know that ?" I like this because it so sad that Bruno said that and doesn`t care about it. I think it`s sad because Bruno still goes after that. Even though his family won`t approve and everyone will get mad. He still goes. It makes me so sad.
