The book of exodus

At this point in the Book of Exodus, Moses was looking after his sheep when suddenly one decides to run away. Little did he know, this lead him to a holy place where God will speak to him, through a burning bush. The Lord began saying that He has seen His people suffer in slavery and He wants to take His people out of Egypt to a better place, filled with nice fertile land. God commanded Moses to be king and told him he will lead them out of this place. Moses was very unsure at first, but he knew God will never leave his side and help him out through every step of the way.

Personal Experience

Number of Chapters:40 ChaptersType of Book:HistoryTime period:Late 1800 B.C to Early 1250 B.CMain theme(s):Bravery, Faith

When Moses experienced God, and obeyed His commands, it reminds me to always do what God says. Even though it may seem “out of the ordinary”, or just plain old weird, no matter what, He has the right plan and the right way of doing things. In personal experience, I can relate by some regrets and decisions that I had done in past experiences. I remember thinking in my head what to do, and hearing the specific voice telling me, yet never listened because I thought it was ridiculous. Even though Moses listened right away and didn’t receive the consequences like I did, he still learned the same lesson that I did and it is found in the bible, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.”
