The Verses

Daniel 12:1 - "At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people – everyone whose name is found written in the book – will be delivered."Daniel 7:25 - "He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time."Daniel 10:12 - Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them."

Daniel and 2 other men were chosen to supervise the govenors and look after the kings interests. Daniel showed the king that he could do work better then the other supervisors could. The supervisors and govenors tried to find something wrong with the way Daniel ran the empire. But Daniel was so reliable the only problem they could find was withing his religion. They all visited King Darius, every single supervisor, govenor, lietenant govenor and other officials proposed that for 30 days and nights that no one be permited to request anything from God or any human being except for Your Majesty. The King signed the paper and when Daniel heard of this law he still continuted to pray 3 times a day. Daniel's enemies observed this and reported it to the king who tried his best to save Daniel but in the end couldnt. So orders were sent to throw Daniel in to the pit of lions. The king returned to the pit of lions Daniel was in and called "Daniel, servant of the living God! Was the God you serve so loyaly able to save you from the lions?" and Daniel replies "May Your Majesty live forever! God sent angles to shut the mouth of the lions so that they would not hurt me. He did this because he knew that I was innocent and because I have not wronged you Your Majesty. Overjoyed the king ordered for Daniel to be pulled up out of the pit. When he saw he was not hurt since he trusted God. He then ordered to arrest all who accuse Daniel and had them thrown in to the pit with thier wives and children.

The Relation

By using and beliving in his faith by constantly praying and obeying God, Daniel was saved from the lions and was able to be free once again.
