The Black Death

The Black Death is a bacterial infection, known as the Yersinia Pestis. When contaminated, the victem will experience lymph node swelling, blood vomit, and seizures. The disease spread exclusively through fleas and phsical contact with the contaminated. Its original hosts were the black rodents of Asia.

The Black Death origniated on the silk road. It traveled to Eurpoe around the 14th century, and wreaked its pathogenic havoc.

Origin

After killing nearly 1/3 of Europe's population, the black death finally began to subside in 1355 as a result of improved immunity and hygeine.
