The Birmingham Bombing By Duncan Speth and Dane Rasmussen

15 sticks of dynamite were wired to detonate simultaneously, and then planted beneath a flight of stairs. Once detonated, 4 young girls were killed. Also there were 20 others injured in the congregation.

This took place in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963 This occured at 10:22 a.m. Sunday morning.

14 year olds Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson and 11 year old Cynthia Wesley were the 4 girls that were killed in this bombing.
