The beat generatio

Beat Generation: group of authors that influenced American culture post-World War II. Their work became popular and was published in the 1950's. They saw runaway capatlism corrupting social equality. Beat Generation authors broke the rules of common society. Beats wrote about subjects that never talked about before. They were alot more straightforward with their writing, Music like jazz was very evocative.
