The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Licoln was known for alot of things such as being Honest. He was deemed "Honest Abe" for the level of honesty he told people. In a way it possibly got him in trouble for keeping it too real. John Wilkes Booth had killed Lincoln because he had freed slaves and Booth was not comfortable with being around blacks. That's was one of the most memorable things about Abraham Licoln was defintely when he abolished slavery(freed the slaves) On Sept. 22, 1862, when he had issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, declaring all slaves in rebel states should be free as of Jan. 1, 1863.

The Assasination of Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was a American President who was shot in the head while attending a play. The play was called "Our American Cousin". He attended the play April 14, 1865. He was offially pronounced dead April 15 at 7:22 am.

As seen on the left Abraham Lincoln was shot by surpise... thinking no one would even be angered with him. I believe if he had tried to shoot him from the front, Abe would've had a better story to go along with his accomplishments.
