The Arctic Indians
The Arctic Indians ate caribo,seal,salmon and whales.They caught their food with spers and harpoons.They had to eat their food raw because they couldn't produce fire.
Some intresting facts are that Alaska comes comes from the aleut word meaning mainland. Another intresting fact is their were flus' going around like influineza ,smallpocks and turburculidos.
They thought that the persons name had the power to fend of evil spirits. Another belief is that the shaman can talk to spirits.
The animals that lived in the arctic are foxes, whales, polar bears,musk ox and so many more.There was also one plant that grew there and it was berries.
The land and climate the Arctic Indians lived in was cold and quite.In the Arctic, it was dark in the fall and winter, and bright and sunny in the spring and summer.
The homes and tools the Arctic Indians had were igloos, tents, kayaks and so many more.The igloos were made of ice. The way they made them was you had to cut the ice blocks at an angle.The clothes they had to kepp them warm were fur boots, wool socks, sweaters and trousers.
