Place of Gods- 250 BC to 800 AD ·Located in the valley of Mexico ·With a population estimated at 125,000 or more, making it the sixth largest aty in the world during its epoch ·Teotihuacanos practiced human and animal sacrifices ·The victims were probably enemy warriors captured in battle and brought to the city for ritual sacrifice to ensure the city could prospere.

Cultures of Mexico flourished nearly 4,000 years before the first contact with Europeans was given.
