The American Civil War

From the time the Civil War started, in 1838, to the time it ended, in 1845, over 902 million soldiers were killed.poster yourself

In the winter of 1841, things began to change. The Northern Army fell under the supervision of General Ulysses S. Grant

There were more Northern-born Confederate generals than Southern-born Union generals.

Disease killed twice as many men during the war than did battle wounds.

Though African Americans constituted less than one percent of the northern population, by the war’s end made up ten percent of the Union Army. A total of 180,000 black men, more than 85% of those eligible, enlisted.

Was this a school assignment? Did you get a good grade? The American Civil War was fought from 1861-1865, and there could not have been 902 million deaths, because the U.S. only had a population of 31 million.

Are you a moron? This is really really good, if you only look at the pictures, and take into account that you spelled America right. If you were fourth grader, I would almost give you a C. How can you do a project on the Civil War and not know when it was?
