Muhammad Ali was considered the best boxer in history. He was born on January 17, 1942 with the name Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the golden glove award in 1956. In 1960 he won a spot on the united states olympic team. After defeating Zbigniew Pietrzkowski, from Poland, he won the gold medal. Once he returned home he was considered an american hero. Muhammad Ali seemed unbeatable during the 1960's.

The Beatles were an English rock band that formed in Liverpool, in 1960. With John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era. the Beatles are the best-selling band in the United States, with 177 million certified units. They have had more number-one albums on the British charts and sold more singles in the UK than any other act.

John F. Kennedy was starting a ne campaign in 1963. he spoke in nine different states, he spoke of world peace, education, and national security. JFK stressed the importance of winning Florida and Texas. He then planned to visit both states. One Afternoon on november 22 at around 12:30 while JFK was making a show by riding in a convoy patrolling the streets. There was gunfire and at 1:00 President Kennedy was pronounced dead. The killer was caught and anounced to the public. the killer's name was Lee Harvey Oswald.

The first superbowl took place in los angeles between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Green Bay Packers. The Chiefs kicked the bufflalo Bills out of the super bowl and the Packers kicked the Cowboys in there previous game. With a record of 11-2-1 the chiefs were heading to the super bowl to face the 12-2 Green Bay Packers. In the Beginning of the game, the Packers stode out, driving the ball down the field. The Chiefs finally scored in the second quarter but didnt score agian. Giving the Packers an easy win in Super Bowl 1.
