LocationThis is where Thailand is located. It is in South-East Asia and is very close to Laos, Burma and Cambodia

By William Nash

Thailand's Population is 67.22 million

The weather in Thailand is generally hot and humid across most of the country throughout most of the year.

The geography of Thailand features many natural borders with neighboring countries: a mountainous border with Burma to the north and west; a long stretch of the Mekong River separating Thailand from Laos to the north and east; and the Mekong River and the Dongrak Mountains running down the border of Cambodia to the east.

Some similarities between Australia and Thailand are that we are both members of the UN, both our drinking ages are 18 and our voting age is the same as well.

If you lived in Australia, instead of Thailand, you would have 6.5% less babies, have 70% less chance at being employed, spend 90% more money on health care and experience 41% less class divide.

If you lived in Thailand instead of Australia, you would be 7 times more likely to have HIV / AIDS, have 3.6 times more chance of dying in infancy, have 79% less money, use 80% less electricity and even die 8.5 years younger.
