Biome
Temperate Deciduous Forest is located in the U.S, Canada, Europe, China and Japan. It experences all four seasons. These forests are located in the mid-latitude areas. During the fall, trees change color and then lose their leaves because during the winter it gets so cold that they have adapted to the weather.

Ecological Succession
Secondary succession could occur in this biome by a forest fire. When a forest fire occurs, the plant and animal life is distroyed. This can be a good thing and everything will be restored naturally after a while. This maturing process could take up to 150 years.
Current Threats: forest fires, and deforestation.Solutions: replant several trees, make sure to put your fire out when you leave.
