What should a strong RTI include?-High quality, research based classroom instruction-Student assessment, with classroom focus-Universal screening of academics and behavior-Continuous progress monitoring of students-Implementation of appropriate, research-based interventions

What is RTI?Some children show needs for additional support in academics and/or behaviors but don't have an identified disability. RTI is a systematic way of applying interventions to students before they fall behind. RTI uses progress monitoring and traditional assessments to do so.
