Teaching

My Teaching Philosophy:Teachers should teach with intention and purpose. They should not teach to just teach because this results in students not being interested. Teachers should get to know each of their students and their strengths and weaknesses. They should be able to teach in different ways in order to help all of their students. Teachers must not only teach their students academically, but also socially with real world examples.

Birmingham Southern College Conceptual Framwork: Birmingham Southern College Conceptual Framework: 1.Advocate2.Curious 3.Intentional 4.GroundedTeachers should advocate for all of their students and their needs. They should be advocates in the teaching community and the community as a whole. Teachers should be curious meaning they should never stop trying to learn. They should inquire for new ideas in the teaching field. Whether these ideas are different ways to relate to their students or new ways of teaching a particular subject. Teachers should have intent on everything they teach and a purpose. Everything a teacher does should be for a reason not just to teach. The teachers should know why and how they are teaching in this way. Meaning they should be able to speak in a way that their students understand what they are saying and be able to teach in any type of setting.
