The difference between right hand movement and left hand movement as it is represented in the brain is the location it is represented.

1) My Question is: What is the difference between your right hand movement and left hand movement as it is represented in the brain.

The difference between right hand movement and left hand movement as it is represented in the brain is that the right hand movement is represented more actively in the left hemisphere of the brain, and the left hand movement is represented more actively in the right hemisphere of the brain.

First you gather your materials. The subject for my experiment was my dad. We used a Functional Brain Imaging System from the Department of Biomedical Engineering. We did 3 trials. In each trial, the subject (my dad) had to move his left hand for the first 30 seconds, then there was a 30 seconds rest, then the subject had to move his right hand. The kind of movement does not matter. We had to make sure that except for his hands, the subject stayed completely still. The entire experiment took 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
