TAOISM (by eyn)

The taoist symbol of taoism is the Yin Yang symbol, literally meaning 'dark and light'

Taoism teaches its followers how to progressin life, and evolve as immortal aspects of the divine. the Taocan be translated as meaning 'the path' or 'the way'

The word taoism is used to refer to both a philosophy and a set of spiritual doctrines.

Each lunar month, taoist temples honor particular deities by hosting festivals and performing often-elaborate ceremonies in thier name.

Taoism does not have a God in the way that the Abrahamic religions do. there is no omnipotent (knows everything) being beond the cosmos, who created and controls the universe.

Taoism is often taught in the west as an atheist or agnoistic philosophy, but in China and Taiwan particualrly

Taoism, or the Tao religon as it is often known, is not really a religon as such but is another great culture of the Orient, based around the nature and desting of mankind and the universe.
