SingaporeOfficials in Singapore announced in July of this year (2014) that And Tango Makes Three "goes against the family values of their country." They have vowed to remove all copies from bookshelves and destroy them.

-Parents believed that the message was to favor homosexuality.-They believed that these "ideas" were not age-appropriate for their children.
What about other countries?
Two male penguins, Roy and Silo, at a zoo took up "nesting" and caring for an egg-shaped rock. The zookeepers noticed and gave the penguins an egg that another couple could not take care of. They care for the egg and it hatches, producing Tango.
