Taiga Biome - 12.2

Description: This is the largest biome. (landwise) The taiga biome has short, wet summers and long, cold winters.

Animals ' Vegetation: -Moose, Elk, Deer, and Wolves. -Spruce, Pine, Fir, and Cowberrry Bushes.

*There is not a lot of vegetation in this biome, therefore, most of the trees are evergreens. Meaning they remain green all year round and never drop their leaves.

Taiga forests are now endangered due to logging and mining by humans.

In the winter months, there is heavy snowfall. The average precipitation rate for the Taiga biome is 33 inches.
