3 Main Events:1.Cece becomes deaf2.Martha becomes Cece's best freind3.When Cece goes to school with all the other deaf children.

SettingsCece and her family lived in a small town in the begining. Cece's family moves to Roanoke, Virginia. Another setting is the school. Also Cece goes to the hospital sometimes. One more is the trampoline in Mikes backyard.

Short

The major themes or lessons to be learned is that anything is possible. Another one is you can be anything you want.

I think an important quote is when Cece looks herself in the mirror and say "Just call me El Deafo."
