structure of atomprepared by Mrs. N. Arora ' Mrs. N. Khandelwal
Dalton's model explained that atoms were tiny invisibly, indestructable particles; And that each had a certain mass, size, and chemical behavior that determined by what kind of element they were. He called his model the " Billiard Ball model" because he thought that atoms looked like billiard balls from pool. John Dalton theorized that matter was made up of many tiny particles called atoms that had no parts. And he thought that atoms looked like Billiard Balls.
The Glog is about the various theories that have been put forward to explain the Structure of atom and the position of sub atomic particles.
Basic Atomic Structure(Subatomic Particles) Subatomic Particle Mass ChargeProton ~ 1 a.m.u +1Electron~ 0 a.m.u. -1Neutron~ 1 a.m.u. 0 a.m.u. = atomic mass unit = 1/12 the mass of a carbon-12 atom
