Stephen King

Nicknamed "The King of Horror," Stephen King is the author of mulitple sci-fi, horror, suspense, and fantasy books. His most famous books include The Shining, It, and Carrie, all succesful adapted films great for Halloween. He is known for titles that are commerically successful and critically acclaimed. King's fiction features everyday language, attention to the details of the story's surroundings, the emotional feelings of his characters, realistic settings, and an emphasis on modern problems. King's popularity comes from his ability to create stories in which evil occurs in ordinary situations.
