John made the first success trial of a 45ft steam boat on Delaware River, on August 22, 1787

Many people use steam boats today for traveling, fishing, and delivery/ traveling.

The Steam Boat was invented in 1807 by John Fitch.

John was born January 21, 1743 in Windsor CT. He was not married, and did not have any children.

John died on July 2, 1798 in Kentucky. John's cause of death was suicide.

The steam boat got it's name because it is powered by the steam engine.

The Steam boat cost 38,000 dollars!

In 1769, A newer and improved version was invented by Scotsman.
