Matter
What is matter?
Matter is anything that has a mass and takes up space (volume).
-Solids have a definite shape & a definite volume-In a solid, the particles are packed closely together with very slow movement ocurring-Solids have the lowest amount of thermal energy
-Gases have no definite shape & no definite volume-In a gas, the particles widely spread apart filling all available space while moving fast-Solid have the highest amount of thermal energy
