What is the spinning jenny?The spinning Jenny is a multi-spindle spinning frame.It was made to produe more yarn.
Who made it?It was invented in 1764, by James Hargreaves in England.Why was it necessary?It helped to make clothes faster.
The Impact.It made clothes faster, but it provided less jobs.
Change during the period?Faster to spin cotton or whool,that led to making fabric for clothes faster.
Remember today.It is remembered as the Spinning Jenny that made yarn that led to making fabric which that led to making clothes.
What did it do?It was the process of cotton spining machine, it used 8 spindles, that spun the yarn.The operator could spin 8 threads at once.
