Sojourner Truth

* She first spoke at the first National Women's Rights Convention in Worcester, Massachusetts, and began touring regularly with abolitionist George Thompson, and spoke about slavery and human rights.* She spoke at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention where she gave the most famous speech about women's rights called, " Ain't I a women?"* Published book about her memors of the time when she was a slave to show people about the abusement and pain that the slaves experienced or experiencing.

About her...

Sojouner Truth was born as a slave in New york, and was abused by her owners for years. She faced alot of conflicts while she was a slave such as having her children sold to other people as slaves. After she gained her freedom on July 4,1827, she went to the court to fight over thr illegal slave trade that was happening in New York to free her son, and she won the court case. She later fought for the freedom for the slaves, and to advance the women's rights giving slaves and the womens hope.
