As fun as it is to explore and be on social media we do need to remember a few things. Risks invloved are sharing personal information that someone could use to hurt you. A child may post something that is inappropriate and possibly illegal which in turn could hunt them throughout their career. Features on SNS may include, instant messaging, sharing of pictures and videos, friends lists and virtural worlds.

- Remember once you post you can't take it back - Be yourself and do not pretend to be someone other than yourself - Online actions have consequences just like other actions - Have online manners

Social networking sites (SNS) such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter have become very popular with our teens. It is a way for them toshare with friends and family, explore new interests, but also a private way to communicate with limited parent supervision.
