The International Space Station The International Space Station is the largest gadget ever travel in space. It traveled around the Earth at an average speed of 27,700 kilometres peer hour. 16 countries, including the USA, Russia, Japan, Canada and many ESA member states worked together to build the Station.

An Astronaut An astronaut or cosmonaut is a person who goes into space to explor planets. The Soviet Union call their space travelers cosmonauts. Astronauts are trainde by NASA. The NASA is the agency that trains United States men and women to serve as commanders, pilots, and mission specialists aboard spacecraft.

Space ShuttleA Space Shuttle is a rocket that is used by an Astronaut to drive them in to space. From there the Space Shuttle takes them to any planet that they are programmed to. The Space Shuttle was used by the NASA (American National Aeronautics and Space Administration)

SputnikOn October 4th, 1957, the Soviet launched the worlds first Sputnik, from the Baikonour cosmodrome in Kazakhotan. The secound sputnik was launched in to space on November 1957 by Russians , and carried the first living creater into orbit, a dog named Laika.

The Hubble Space TelescopeHST wich known as The Hubble Space Telescope is one of the most well known telescopes. It is the first well visualed space lookout telescope. The Hubble Space Telescope is out in our orbit observe in the near ultra, clear, and near flaming colour. The Hubble Space Telescope is named after the glowing Edwin Hubble, the Hubble Space Telescope can observe 24 hours a day.

RoverA rover or known sometimes as planetary rover is a space search vehicle was made to move across the surface. Some rovers have been builed to transport members of a human spaceflight crew. Rovers usually arrive at the planetary surface on a lander-style spacecraft.

SatelliteA satellite is a moon, planet or machine that orbits a planet or star. For example, Earth is a satellite because it orbits the sun. The moon is a satellite because it orbits Earth. Usually satellites are machine that is launched into space and moves around Earth or another planets in space. Some satellites take pictures of our planet to helps scientists predict weather and track hurricanes. Also satellites take pictures of other planets, the sun, black holes, dark matter or faraway galaxies. These pictures help scientists better understand the solar system and universe.

TelescopeA telescope is used in order to view objects in detail from great distances away. Peopl begain to use them at the start of the 17th century. Some of the biggest improvement in astronomy have been made because of the telescope.

Yuri Gagarin from Russia, was the first person to travel into space on April 12, 1961. John Glenn, astronaut from the United States, was the first American to travel to orbit of earth on February 20 1962.

he rover that weant to space was named Curiosity. The Curiosity rover weighs 900 kilograms

It cost 1.5 billion dollars.

The International Space Station is a labaratory in space where a lot of scientests stydy space from the earth orbit.

The Space Shuttle is one of the most complicated machines that humans ever built. It was a huge achievement in technology when the first Space Shuttle was launched, because it represented that space craft are re-useable.

If some satellites are flying too low then they may fall back to Earth after only a few months because they pass through air in the upper atmosphere, which slow them down. Satellites that are high up in space they can stay in space forever.

The first telescope was invented in 1608 by Hans Lippershey
