As a child he was fascinated by inventions. He spent his time carving sundials and making kites. He attended Trinity College in Cambridge. He was made a scholar and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree there. He discovered gravity, the laws of motion, invented telescope and studied light. He never married, but had step brothers and sisters whom he helped. He died at the age of 82. He was a great scientist and mathematitian who changed the world!

Isaac Newton was famous for discovering the 3 laws of motion. The 1st law of motion is that if a object is moving steadily will remain in that same state unless force applies to it.The 2nd law of motion is that the accelarationof an object depends on 2 things the objects mass and the force that is acting upon it.Isaac Newtons 3rd law of motion was that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Such as a swimmer pushes against the water and the water pushes the swimmer.Newton was also famous for gravity. One day when Newton was sitting under an apple tree an apple suddenly fell on his head he was startled. That put Newton into thinking about gravity. Then he thought if theapple fell to the ground then why didn't the moon fall to the earths surface? It was because the pull of gravity.

Lasting Impact

Without Newton's discoveries about gravity space travel would have been impossible. Our world has changed a lot thanks to Newtons discoveries and inventions. Isaac Newton was a great person.
