Sir Francis Drake

Sir Francis Drake, as you probrably know, was the one who leaded to the destruction of the Spanish armada and brought back their riches for England. But before that, he was secretly in with a plan with Queen Elizabeth I.He also made two major trade voyages to different countries.

Accomplishments

1540 - First sea voyage1570 - Trade route to West Indies1577 - made a secret plan with Queen Elizabeth

Sir Francis Drake made two trade journies to the West Indies. Then, in 1577, he made a secret plan with Queen Elizabeth I to defeat the spanish armada and take all of their riches and treasures. And in between 1579-1560, he defeated the spanish armada.

Lasting Impact

Sir Francis Drake helped Great Britain defeat the spanish armada while Queen Elizabeth I was the Queen.
