SOLIDS
LIQUIDS
* A liquid is a type of matter that does not have it's own shape and flows at a given temperature. * Liquids take the shape of their containers.
* Everything around us is matter. * Matter is made up of molecules. * Matter comes in three different forms: solid, liquid, and gas.
* A gas is a type of matter that also doesn't have it's own shape. * Without a container, a gas can flow freely and even though we can't see them, they are always surrounding us.
* A solid is a type of matter that has it's own shape and does not flow. * Therefore they have a definite shape and volume.
