Description of Silver

Silver is a solid metal that has the color of silver. The melting point (C) of silver is 961.93 degrees. The boiling point (C) of silver is 2212.0 degrees. Pure silver is nearly white, lustrous, soft, very ductile, malleable, it is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. It is commonly used to make jewellery and tableware utensils. Silver has two stable isotopes, 107Ag and 109Ag. Three common compounds found containing silver are silver(Ag), silver fulminate(Ag2C2N2O2), and silver oxide(Ag2O).
