The Shishaldin Volcano stands at 2857 meters high the volcano's topographic contour lines are nearly perfect circles above 6,500 feet.

Shishaldin is the highest and one of the most active volcanoes of the Aleutian Islands

Last eruption was in 2008. Part of the Ring of Fire, where the Pacific Plate is continually subducting under other plates.

A Shishaldin Volcano is a composite volcano, located in Alaska.
