On February 10th, 2014, Shirley Jane Temple Black, age 85, passed away in her Woodside Home in California of natural causes.

Her career lasted for 30 years. After leaving the film business she went on to be the United Nations U.S. representative. Later becoming the U.S. ambassador to the republic of Ghana. Shirley was also named the U.S. chief of protocol and the U.S. ambassador to Czechoslovakia. Thus being the first woman in history to do so. The beloved child star was honored a star on the "Hollywood's Walk of Fame" in 1998. Shirley Jane Temple Black will be dearly missed by many and remembered by all who fell in love with the amazing charm of this talented actress.
